In PCAP 2013, science will be the major domain assessed, while reading and mathematics will be the minor domains. Approximately 1,200 schools will be involved, and 30,000 students will write the assessment either in English or in French. Contextual questionnaires will also be administered to students, teachers, and school principals.
The field test for PCAP 2013 will take place in the spring of 2012 in selected schools across Canada, and the main administration will be held in the spring of 2013. The results will be published in 2014.
