Some examples of literacy activities in Manitoba:

• Kindergarten to Grade 12 Curriculum Framework for English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Literacy, Academics, and Language (LAL) Programming The departments of Education and Advanced Education and Literacy work with the Winnipeg School Division to help immigrant youth with interrupted schooling transition into adult learning and employment opportunities.

• Enhancing Transitions Resulting from Manitoba's Enhancing Transitions for Adults to Further Education, Employment and Training, this collection of tools and curriculum materials is designed to equip adult educators with the resources to assist adult literacy learners and adult secondary learners.
