Report on Differences in Reading Performance of 13-Year-Olds Based on Language and Minority/Majority Status ( 8605kb)
This report supplements the PCAP-13 2007: Report on the Assessment of 13-Year-Olds in Reading, Mathematics, and Science, which describes the performance of 13-year-old students on the Pan-Canadian Assessment Program, developed and administered in 2007 by the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC). This report is based on the same context variables, but it focuses on those that best explain the differences in performance between six language groups.

This fact sheet reports on the school-age population living in low-income circumstances.

Ministerial Statement on Credit Transfer in Canada 2009 ( 50kb)
In 2002, CMEC approved a strategy to improve credit-transfer systems and promote mobility for students across Canada. Given the differences in credit-transfer systems and Postsecondary structures among provinces and territories, the initial focus was on developing and enhancing the pan-Canadian credit-transfer system. In the summer of 2009, the Ministerial Statement on Credit Transfer in Canada was updated and approved by all ministers.
