Follow and Read the Assessment Script
Each school will receive a paper copy of the Assessment Script. The test administrator is required to follow the script and read the designated sections word-for-word to the students during the PCAP administration.
The script describes the steps that need to be completed during the PCAP administration and provides access codes that students must enter in order to move together as a group from one section of the assessment to the next. PCAP cannot be administered in the absence of the script.
The test administrator may begin reading the PCAP Assessment Script once all students are logged in. When prompted, the test administrator may read out the unique access code for the appropriate section of the assessment. Do NOT provide an access code until the entire class is ready to begin the corresponding section.
