This compilation provides information about the numerous projects, awards, funding initiatives, documents, and policy and legislative developments related to literacy that have been announced or implemented by the provinces and territories and by some of their partners since the April 2008 Pan-Canadian Interactive Literacy Forum, hosted by the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC). While some of the listings describe commitments to literacy that were renewed between April 2008 and February 2009, others outline new initiatives that aim to expand and improve services and reach new groups.
