Verification Step 1 – Install the secure browser

As a first verification check, you must install the secure browser on all the electronic devices to be used for PCAP at your school.

The secure browser is a download that includes the appropriate default settings and requires no additional set-up. It replaces the need for an internet browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and restricts student access to the internet and to other programs for the duration of the assessment. Once the assessment is complete and the secure browser is closed, the internet and other programs on the device will be accessible again.

To install the secure browser, click on the link below that matches your electronic device and follow the installation instructions.
